Over and Under

From the Series Comparing Directions

We walk over some bridges and under others. What can fly above a tree or sit below it? Over and Under introduces emergent readers to opposing directions they see in everyday life, while providing them with a supportive first nonfiction reading experience. Carefully crafted text uses high-frequency words, repetitive sentence patterns, and strong visual references to support emergent readers, making sure they aren’t facing too many challenges at once.

Over and Under includes tools for teachers and caregivers as well as introductory nonfiction features such as labels, a table of contents, words to know, and an index.

Over and Under is part of Jump!’s Comparing Directions series.
