Educator Review of All About Arachnids

Cover: All About Arachnids

In this series, the reader learns about specific arachnids around the world. The books begin with a Table of Contents giving the readers an idea of what the author will be teaching the reader within the book.

The books describe the special features of the arachnids that make them unique from other arachnids. The books talk about what the arachnids eat and how they hunt their prey. Every book has a very detailed large diagram of the arachnid so that the reader can see the special features of the arachnid. The books describe where each arachnid lives and how it survives.

These books are filled with numerous photographs of the arachnid in its home, eating prey, and in its natural environment. The photographs have labels and captions to help the reader better understand the photographs. The print on the page is large and there’s not more than 6 sentences on the pages so that young readers are not overwhelmed with print.

Every book has a Glossary, Index, and an Activities & Tools page that provides the reader an engaging activity that aligns with each book. The photographs of the arachnids intrigues all readers of all ages and makes the arachnids come alive! Check out these books and you will be fascinated by arachnids!
